With over 25 years in investment management, Laura is the CEO and co-founder of Alaska Wealth Advisors, where she leads with vision, clarity, and a commitment to the long-term strength of the firm. Under her leadership, the team has grown into a values-driven organization built to serve generations of clients with consistency and care.
Laura is passionate about cultivating leadership and fostering a culture where collaboration and professional growth thrive. She and the leadership team are focused on ensuring the firm is designed for the future: one where clients benefit from a cohesive team of advisors and staff who are aligned in purpose and approach.
A champion of women in business, Laura actively works to foster environments where women can thrive in leadership roles. She has been recognized as a YWCA Woman of Achievement for her contributions to both her profession and community.
Laura plays a key role in expanding the firm’s reach and community presence, guided by her belief that strong financial stewardship contributes to stronger communities. Her civic involvement reflects this belief. Laura has served on numerous nonprofit and economic development boards, including as the former chair of the University of Alaska Foundation. Laura is currently engaged with organizations such as the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, Providence Alaska, and the ATHENA Society.
When she’s not building relationships or supporting her community, Laura enjoys spending time at her family’s cabin and exploring Alaska’s outdoors with her two dogs—Bindi, a giant sheepadoodle, and Wallace, a spirited miniature rescue.
