Meet our new team member – Caitlin Gohr

I am excited to be joining Alaska Wealth Advisors as an Associate Financial Advisor. I found a passion for financial planning during college at Central Washington University. Central boasts one of the few bachelor’s programs that meets the educational requirements to sit for the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards, Inc. accreditation examination. After years of academia and graduating with a BS in Business Administration with the Personal Financial Planning Specialization I was ready to start my career in finance. I am currently working towards fulfilling the requirements to achieve the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

Upon returning home to Alaska I progressed from a coordinator role to an Associate Financial Advisor with an investment program at a local credit union. It has been fulfilling to apply the foundation of my education to building my investment knowledge and financial planning skills. I am thrilled to be joining this team that provides personalized solutions and strategies to each clients’ unique circumstances and aspirations. I look forward to growing with this dedicated team, building client relationships, and contributing to the community.

Outside the office I participate in several non-profit organizations including a personal favorite, Special Olympics of Alaska, and as a board member/player with Anchorage Women’s Hockey League. I appreciate all the outdoors the state has to offer, especially through the world-class trail systems. You can frequently find me enjoying various activities including biking, hiking, skiing, hockey, running and more (usually alongside my dogs).

I look forward to meeting you in the office or seeing you on the trails.
