Kirsten Halpin, CFA^®, CAIA^®, FRM^®

Kirsten joined Alaska Permanent Capital Management in 2015, serving in various roles across the investment and operations teams. Kirsten’s commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence sets her apart. Her dedication and pursuit of knowledge have led her to attain specialized industry designations, including Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and Financial Risk Manager.

Over the course of her career, Kirsten has honed her ability to communicate complex financial concepts with ease, making her a highly effective communicator across diverse audiences. In 2025 she transitioned to Director of Investments for Alaska Wealth Advisors. In this role, she oversees the firm’s investment offerings and portfolio trading.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kirsten’s passion for finance extends into her community engagement. She shares her expertise as an adjunct instructor at Alaska Pacific University, inspiring the next generation of financial professionals. Additionally, Kirsten serves as the Treasurer for the Anchorage Community Land Trust board, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the community and making a positive impact on local initiatives.  When not buried in a book, you can find her off in the woods with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
